Receiving quality gifted instruction can help students grow and be challenged in many new ways. However, the transition from a general education classroom to a gifted classroom can be difficult. If students don’t learn how to manage the new expectations of their teachers, it can become too much to handle. In this 1-hour course, “Uncovering and Retaining Gifted Students: Advocating for Historically Underserved Students,” Dr. Karen Zeske teaches educators how to retain their gifted students. Learn strategies to support gifted students and help them thrive.
